At the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, GAC Toyota’s new compact SUV Fenlanda was officially released. The car and FAW Toyota Corolla Sharp as a sister model, based on the TNGA architecture, can be regarded as a small RAV4, in December 2021 officially opened for pre-sale

On April 18, 2023, at the Shanghai International Auto Show, the first fifth-generation smart electric hybrid SUV – GAC Toyota Fenlanda smart electric hybrid was officially launched.
Exterior and interior
Unlike the Corolla Sharp, the Fenlanda uses the Japanese version of the Corolla Cross appearance kit, the front envelope and the intake grille area is huge, and the logo around the center net is only a narrow strip.
The declared model does not use full LED headlights, and the front headlight chamber of the high-equipped model has an LED light belt separated from the upper and lower parts. In addition, the vehicle has a black roof and silver trim to increase personality.
The Fenlanda comes from the TNGA-C platform, positioning the entry-level compact SUV, the body size is 4485/1825/1620mm, the wheelbase is 2640mm, and the side lines of the body are rich.
In addition, in terms of chassis, the vehicle suspension uses the front McPherson independent suspension and the rear torsion beam non-independent suspension.
